PLEASE NOTE :
YOU MUST POSSES BASIC FREEDIVING & SPEARFISHING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
To be able to spearfish you must have some previous spearfishing experience. This is NOT a course, it’s a guided session to enjoy spearfishing.
If you already know how to freedive but you never did spearfishing, we do beginner spearfishing courses, and in a single day you can get the basic spearfishing knowledge and skills, plus you will also spearfish.
If you never did freediving nor spearfising, we can customize a combo learning experience for you, that will allow you to learn basic freediving skills and discover spearfishing.
If you want to spearfish efficiently it’s highly recommended to complete a freediving course first, with an experienced instructor from a reputable freediving organization.
First of all it’s important to do so for safety.
You will also learn proper ways and essential freediving skills & techniques that are going to optimize your performance and maximize your efficiency, which is a must if you want to perform well in spearfishing.
Whom better to learn spearfishing in Malta from, if not from a Certified Master Freediving and Spearfising instructor who is also a spearfishing addict. 😉
Malta has ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced freedivers, all year round.
It’s a lovely island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea with beautiful coastline, stunning landscapes, crystal clear waters and rich marine life.
Dive sites are easily accessible from shore. Most of our training sessions are conducted right on top of ship wrecks, which makes it a truly unforgettable experience.
As for guided freediving excursions there is a great deal of amazing underwater structures & landscapes to explore on a single breath of air. It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner or a deep spearfishing enthusiast. Most certainly you can always catch yourself a nice dinner here in Malta.
However, once we talk about big game then it becomes more challenging. Experienced spearfishers know the value of local experience, good micro locations and knowing the right fishing conditions.
You can rest assured that you will be at the right spot at the right time and if it’s a good day you might even get a shot to land that trophy monster.

It’s Your private spearfishing adventure. At the moment we are using 12.5ft (3.8m) RIB. We allow 2 persons max for a safe, comfortable and efficient spearfishing experience. It’s just Captain Denis and You, or You +1. Bring your friend/partner and share the costs at such a bargain price.
Experienced spearos already know the great advantage of spearfishing by boat, especially in Malta, where spearfishing is so popular. It means: Easy access to multiple fishing hot spots. We will reach various distant locations that are too far to get by swimming.
Aside from teaching, Denis spent his last 10 years spearfishing by boat in Malta, Comino and Gozo, year round. That’s still his favorite activity on his day off. Hunting deep monsters is his passion. There’s no unknown terrain. Only secret spots 😉
